Our online Cybersecurity training about new machinery regulations offers a concise yet comprehensive overview of cybersecurity aspects related to the requirements introduced by the new machinery regulation 2023/1230 as well as the upcoming Cyber Resiliance Act.

The training lasts a total of 8 hours and is divided into 2 on-line (MS Teams) sessions of 4 hours each.

Designed for customers which intend to prepare themselves for compliance to the upcoming regulations, this training provides a thorough understanding of cybersecurity principles and processes.  It is particularly important for the QM or R&D departments who approach the cybersecurity compliance topic for the first time or need a refresh about the latest updates based on the state of the art (i.e. update on IEC 62443 serie).

Wir betonen die Synergien, die durch einen ganzheitlichen „Security by Design“-Ansatz erreichbar sind, und vertiefen uns in die Cybersicherheitsnorm IEC 62443, die als Grundlage für die Vorbereitung auf die kommenden harmonisierten Normen dienen kann.

Ein pragmatischer und realistischer Ansatz, ohne das Rad neu erfinden zu müssen, wird vorgestellt und diskutiert.

• Overview of risk assessment process (IEC 62443-3-2 based)

Part 2 (4h, Day 2):

• Overview of the required development processes for cybersecurity (IEC 62443-4-1 based)
• Overview of cybersecurity measures (IEC 62443-4-2, IEC 62443-3-3 based)
• Synergies between functional safety and cybersecurity (IEC TR 63069:2019 - Framework for functional safety and security)
• How to prepare for the new machinery regulation in practice (an example)
